If he overcame the world, why have atrocities and horrors increased exponentialy since that was written?

Why have so many of the worlds atrocities been committed in the name of the Christian God? It was just these evils and hypocracies that drove me away from the church (oh ya, somewhere between being raped in a bathroom stall at 8 by a Jesuit priest and Sister Gillette sending me to the principals office for obscenity because I asked why there wasn't an 11 commandment 'thou shall not rape' I came to hate and reject the church.)
Most of the evil in the world is and has been done in the name of God (I include Christianity and Islam in this category. Historically Christianity has been far FAR worse in relation to genocide. Islam get's marginal favor as they started in on the mass killing game relatively recently).
Fuck the Judeo Christian God ( just look at what he did to Job. Satan comes across as an angel in that biblical tale of abuse), Fuck his blind, cruel mewling acolytes and fuck the concept that he even exists

Secondly, things aren't nessearraly getting worse, we just know more about horrible things these days because of technology, the internet, cameras, etc.. Horrible stuff has been happening ever since sin entered the world, murder, rape, mass genocide etc... With that being said it is told in the bible that during the "last days" there will be more suffering. "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days."2 Timothy 3:1. Theres alot of debate about whether we are in the last days, this is a conversation for another day.
You mention some of the "christian" atrocitys like the Crusades etc.. These guys didn't seem to heed Jesus's words such as, treat your neighbor as you would like to be treated, and to love your enemies.. etc. There's many false "Christians" who call themselves christian but do not follow what jesus teaches ,there are many today sadly, (to which I understand your anger at "christians"). I can only suggest that you learn of the gospel of Christ. Jesus preached love and kindness, to help your fellow man, to be selfless and serve others. If everyone followed what he taught this world would be a LOT better.
I'm sorry to hear of the horrible crime that was done to you. I know that Jesus hates what was done to you, and God will punish those that sinned against you. Matthew 18:6
"But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea". God is angry and grieved by sexual abuse, and He promises to repay for the evil that’s done and to avenge any sins committed against children. Jesus can heal the deepest of wounds, He loves you, so much that he died on the cross for you.
As far as what was done to Job. Yeah he lost everything, but then God rewarded him for his faith by giving him two fold what he had before. I think you should read the whole book (chapter in the bible) before you make an assessment. Also Satan used to be an angel, so he probably looks like one. The movies are wrong, he doesn't look like a red menace with horns.
