My life doesn't suck that much right now exactly - but it is going to suck. A lot, probably. See, I live in Greece, and you all must have heard how many financial problems we have here. Thankfully my parents both have jobs - but still, they can't afford to send me to college. I want to go so so bad, but it's almost impossible, we don't have enough money. Today when I made sure that there is no way I'm going to college, I saw my whole life flashing before my eyes: I'm probably going to end up with a job that I hate, like a waitress, or a maid. I'm going to marry some guy that will turn out to be a jerk, I'm gonna have a bunch of kids with him, I'm gonna divorce him, and then when my kids are old enough, I won't have a penny to send them to college, and their lives will be ruined, cause they won't be able to even try to reach their dreams, let alone achieve them. Honestly, even though I'm just 16 years old, sometimes I feel like I'm 40. | |
