No money for college equals a life that is gonna suck as much as possible

My life doesn't suck that much right now exactly - but it is going to suck. A lot, probably. See, I live in Greece, and you all must have heard how many financial problems we have here. Thankfully my parents both have jobs - but still, they can't afford to send me to college. I want to go so so bad, but it's almost impossible, we don't have enough money. Today when I made sure that there is no way I'm going to college, I saw my whole life flashing before my eyes: I'm probably going to end up with a job that I hate, like a waitress, or a maid. I'm going to marry some guy that will turn out to be a jerk, I'm gonna have a bunch of kids with him, I'm gonna divorce him, and then when my kids are old enough, I won't have a penny to send them to college, and their lives will be ruined, cause they won't be able to even try to reach their dreams, let alone achieve them. Honestly, even though I'm just 16 years old, sometimes I feel like I'm 40.

There are like 1 million people who did not go to college and still had lives a lot better and a lot worse than the one you described. College doesnt guarantee anything. If you have the right attitude you can become a Steve Jobs or the loser you described you see yourself becoming. Take things as they come. You may find a great husband or may never get married

I do not know what is like to live in Greece. Work and save your money, and go to college. Do not settle for someone you do not love. If feel like you are 40 than be wise, to people who take adavnage of young 16 like your slef. You are young and have the whole world at your feet. It not going to be easy, if was easy than everyone would land on their feet. Put God in your life, learn to live for him and your life will change. May God bless you many times over.
