I got a call from my daughter. She said that her and Larry had run short that
month and they were wondering if I could lend them $300. I said yes and that I would be over in a few hours. When I got there, Larry answered the door and
wanted to know why it took me so long to get there. I said I got that I there
as quickly as I could. He got angry gave me a back hander in the face and
nocked me down,pulled the cash out of my shirt pocked and said I should get
out of his site before he hits me again. At that moment my daughter walked
into the room and asked Larry if he got the money. She then walked to the front
door, opened it and said "dad, you had better leave". They're my only family
and I know what I should have done but I can't bring myself to call the police.
