Lost my job for the 4th time in 3 years

Got laid off twice and fired twice in the past 3 years. My self esteem is at the all time low. Have to look for a job again but I don't think I have it in me to look again. Husband is upset with me. I am making him depressed as well. I just turned 37 and because my job situation is so unstable and I struggle with bouts of depression we can't start a family. So I drown my sorrow in mindless tv watching and internet browsing.

Keep watching tv and browsing the internet because let me tell you the last thing you want to do is have kids in this fucked up life time especially if you havent had a SOLID STABLE JOB.kids are just ANOTHER BILL and that my friend is a FACT..

Do not worry about the job situation. Those jobs lost are ideal for someone else. Your ideal job is waiting to be found. Keeping looking. I'm sure you get bored of surfing the net & watching TV. If you keep trying to find a better job, you might get one you really really like. Just keep searching.

A lot of people who have a hard time working for someone end up starting their own business.

Thank you for your encouraging words.. As an update.. Once I got over the pain of the latest layoff I started feeling much better. I am looking to the future, exploring different career options and working on my fitness, health, well being and skills. I've realized that I was given an amazing gift of time and an ability to use it as I see fit. Of course all of this would have been a lot more difficult without the love and support of my husband. So I feel grateful.
