no friends

I have always been the social butterfly and have always had friends. However, if they've stabbed me in the back at any point I discard them. I am 27 year old female and I only want to surround myself with positive, REAL, genuine people...because that is what I am. I am to the point where I don't think these people exist...if so very few. I am attractive and in shape and it seems like mulitple girlfriends of mine over the years come on to the guys I happen to be with, they try to be-friend my boyfriends and paint and bad picture of me. People tell me they are jealous of me and my happiness and try to feel better about themselves by meddling in my relationships or trying to.

I am to the point where I feel I can't even have friends even though I want friends because everyone always betrays me. I have attempted to meet some neighborhood women and if we get together and go out or have them over, the moment they start to act too flirtaeous, act fake, or talk about crazy drama or gossip about others.... they don't hear from me again.

My fiance and I just joined a church.......you think all the women rolled out of bed with their saturday night clubbing attire on to come to church. I'm not conservative by any means but know better then to attend church dressed like a scank looking for my next trick. We have attended every Sunday for 3 months now and no one has greeted us, or said anything to us for that matter. I have been ready to attend a new church because I don't care of the crowd for obvoius reasons, on top of the fact that my fiances ex-wife recently started attending as well. I have continued to attend because my fiance found the church and hasn't been ready to switch, however, after last Sunday's issues we will be trying somethin new this weekend :).

I miss having friends... genuine, real, honest, good hearted, down to earth people. Where do I find them?

I red some stories on this website that depict ppl broke with no friends or family, who live in abandoned houses stealing electricity and trying to pay of huge debts.

Your sound sure dose not sound that bad after i red those other stories.

if you are religious also seek help from the pastor/priest/etc. and above all seek guidance from God and pray =)

Hi,

You sound like a realist... someone who knows that most people on this planet are just plain fake. However, your not an introvert and you seek friendship with other people mainly women I would assume. Going to church is for worship, not for finding friends... now that's just my opinion. :) Perhaps a local social club or something like that. It isn't easy to find real people who are genuine that one can be friends with... It's the luck of the draw. What are your interests besides church? What kinds of activities or hobbies are you into? Finding other people who share your interests is one way to go. But where do you look? That's the question... Sorry if this doesn't help at all. :)

Women make shitty friends. Im a chick and I went to a mostly women's highschool and college, they are nothing but jealous and competitive. I'm not like that but most are and my years there sucked. Find a small Protestant or Baptist church, a place where people greet you and get to know you when you come. Don't worry about trying to make friends just do what comes natural.

Friends should always come naturally. If you force yourself to make friends then they aren't really going to become a true friend. Trust me on this. Nevertheless, good luck! :)

I would join a bible study or small group within your church. Its hard to adequately meet people during service, atleast from my experiance. If your not liking your current church its fine to explore. You'll meet some good people, it just might take a bit of time.

no worries, I am ready to become your genuine friend

By anonymous at 21,Feb,12 16:05

Sorry, but you don't sound very "positive" or "real" or "good hearted" or "down to earth." I wouldn't be your friend if you paid me.

By anonymous at 21,Feb,12 16:19

Im not saying that you dont have problems an all but seriously there are people with so much worse of problems..you need to think more positively

good for you, you're young and you say you are attractive and in good shape and I would guess good health too. i got to tell you sister that you've got it pretty damn good compared to those with out the good looks or good health. i wish you well but honestly you sound a little bratty yourself. none of us here can trust most of the people who pretend to be our friends the only thing we can do is try to do no harm to others. question about the fiances ex----- did you have anything to do with their brake up?

June 6, 2011 at 12:27 pmI just purchased this bike (leftover stock from 2010). I must say, it is amazing for these reasons:1. It is the perfect mix of classic and new, fashionable and yet, functional as a road bike. No other mauatucfnrer has accomplished this like the Masi and the Speciale. 2. The heavier frame makes for great exercise and a very comfortable ride. Agreed, if you are into racing and have a lot of money spend, go Aluminium, Carbon, or both. 3. Great starter bike. If your goal is to get into racing, I would train on this bike before moving into the ligher weight options.
