i work in this place and they took on a load of new staff. theres this one guy who can really irritate people and acts weird a lot of the time but obviously we all get on with it because teres no other choice.
one day after a 7 and a half hour shift - during which there was all sorts of banter and shit being said to everyone and by everyoone whilst polishing cutlery, as a joke and a mess around, we werent being serious - i posted something on a social networking site about him. it was meant as an extention of what had been happening earlier in the night but people from work have seen it and informed a manager.
i removed the post as soon as i found out so as not to cause any more problems but im now due to have a meeting with the manager and theyre having a full staff meeting about it and i feel really mixed up about it all. ive never done anything like it before becasue i kknow what problems it causes and only did it this time because it was part of the joke. im so worried that people at work are going to behave differently to me - ive never been in trouble before and im a genuinely good person - and that its going to be blown out of proportion.
i was only asked a week ago if i was intrested in being promoted to supervisor too so i dont want to forfit this opportunity over such a silly mistake. the words of the manager were 'I will have to discuss this further with yourself and [person involved]. [place of work] does not tollerate Bullying in the work place and I will let you know when we will meet'.
at such a loose end, any words?

Yeah, i got some words for you. It sounds like you work in kindergarten. Do you? Only a bunch of crusty cocksores would look at a interweb posting of faces in a bok and then tell on you for posting a face. I'd get a real book, find out who the cock gobbler was who told and beat him nearly to death with it just off company grounds. Then, I'd make his dog take a big sloppy dump on him while he was lying there like the shitty little bitch he is.

Next thing I'd do is let your manager know what a chickenshit bottle of douche backflow he is. If it's a she I'd pull my cock out and slap her in the face with it 3 times. If it's a hermaphrodite you can fuck her and punch him in the face all at the same time. That would be the best thing, but most importantly, let him her or it know that there's not a good goddamn wisp of anything they can do for something you did on your own time and off company property. Tell them to please fire you, so you can commence being a millionaire immediately.

If you're too much of a pussy to do that, just levae a few pubes on the managers desk every other day or so. That'll get your message across.

Start looking for other work dude. In this economy, they'll harass you into quitting if they can't fire you once you've got a reputation as a troublemaker. Been there, done that.

okay so you made a bad decision. one that could jeopordize your employment and your promotion. all you can do is suck it up and take one on the cheek. Go to the meeting tell them it was misunderstood but you realize that it caused greif with a coworker. apologize. even offer an appoligy on facebook.

I had the exact same thing happen to me i emailed a joke to some staff that we had been joking about that day and i got sacked! all i would say is try to explain it was all in jest and it has been taken out of context in the cold light of day try to make them understand there was no hard feelings and everyone was part of the joke.
