I have been asking that same question for years and my (fake) friend answered me the question. He told me that we (the people with shitty lives) are alive because we pay for our sins that we've committed in the past. The more we pay our sins in this live the better our afterlife will be.
I said fake friend because after 10 years of friendship he stopped being my friend because his dirty girlfriend ordered him not to be my friend anymore. She probably found me weird ( I have no social skills and very I'm shy)
because life is cruel the universe is cruel and neither one give a shit about any of us, i'm pissed at my parents for conceiving me, i find it very selfish of them all we can do is go on or end it ourselves but hey we're still here try not to give up
