I have 4 kids a addict boyfriend and cant find a job. The windshield in my car is broke my car insurance just went up and I got cancelled and got a 150 dollar fine from the mva for having a 9 hour lapse Oh yeah and to top it off I live with my boyfriend and my husband that I left 2 years ago woo hoo shit is great. And I am effin broke

What the hell do you need a car for? Our perspective on automotive transportation is warped by the media. It's not a necessity, it's a luxury. Owning a vehicle means NOTHING but expenses. No matter what you are thinking, unless you actually work as a driver (in which case you would drive a company car anyways) a car never makes or saves you any money. I was also very dependent on my car until I got in an accident. My car was wrecked and I couldn't afford to get another one, so I started taking the bus and cycling (when the weather allows). Since then I could have bought a car, but don't because I can do without it. It's very liberating, try it :). Not caring whether the petrol prices are going up or down is a great feeling :).

Now, people, that's much more complicated than automobiles, can't give you any meaningful advice about the boyfriend/husband situation.
