You are completely right. Americans are so detached and caught up in their own little personal drama bubbles and superficiality.. I don't know if people here think their problems are the worst evar like omg (heh).. I am not so delusional to think that of myself but I think it's good to have somewhere to vent emotional hang-ups. Though I don't have to fight a rottweiler for my breakfast i am human with feelings and it's nice to just get it out..

Your right we should all feel guilty that we have feelings and rough times. We should also feel guilty because there are others suffering worse than us. You probably also complain about America policing the world then turn around and complain because we do not give everthing to poorer countries. I for one do not and will not feel guilty for being an American. I also think it is healthy to vent even if it upsets a bleeding heart liberal such as yourself. How much time and money do you spend on helping the under privleged? Just curious because most bleeding hearts want someone else to do it while they sit around and judge everyone.

This is nowhere near a unique statement. I am sure most people are aware of this fact. I have been to third world countries, I understand the suffering, I have seen blood, gore, unbelievable shit in my life. Doesn't mean I am not thankful for the basics we do enjoy. I think most of the people on this sight, such as me, hate themselves more than they hate life. I absolutely hate myself, I am the worst piece of shit on earth, I can't change this, and i've tried for years, i've tried jesus, nothing works at all.
