My life really sucks--but its all true.

Out of nowhere, in February 2011, my 16 year old son passed away (heartbroken doesn't even describe it) ...he had an underlying heart condition that we never knew about....two months later, my beloved dad passed away, four months later, my mother passed away.
This spring, I was removed from being at the top of my volunteer charity because there was a change in administration.
Today, I was told that the position I LOVE and worked very hard maintaining (going WELL beyond my job description), is being pulled back for someone who is angry, loud, miserable, and needs to retire.
I am devistated. I have little to no family left, and I don't have any friends due to the "clicks" at work. They only thing I had left was my job that I excell(ed) at. I already spoke to my boss, and his mind is made up. Having such a passion for what I do, that I was overcome with anxiety and GI problems, that I had to leave work. By the way, the news came in am e-mail.
Please don't say I need to change jobs, etc.
I feel that I have been pulled down in the mud, kicked, and spit on. I don't know what to do. I am so alone.

before you were you, at some point you agreed to this arrangement with the people you now work with. the position you held you didn't need it anymore because you mastered it and learned everything you were required to learn. someone else must now learn what you have. pass it to the next with love because before you were you -- you shook hands on it.

well you only have one way to go. start living your life. go on walks, go to the park, go to the library, bookstores, coffee shops. look into local music venues in the paper. who says you cant go right? just DO IT! and eventually you are going to start making connections with people. not over night no but eventually you WILL make friends. work friends suck anyway. set goals for yourself. try and get into the best shape of your life! focus on SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE NEGATIVE!!!!!

Typical Victim mentality. You put all your effort into work because you didn't make any friends or have a life; sounds like some other underlying issues.

I'm shocked by the previous comment, narrow minded and unhelpful to say the least. God forbid you ever loose a child followed by your parents, but if you did please come pack here and let us know how positive you feel.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss, I'm sure that after so many consecutive losses your job must have felt like the last scrap of solidity in your life so to loose that too must have really pulled the rug out from under you.

The most important thing is not to loose faith in the fact that you can get through this. Remember you held a job that you loved and excelled at, but it seems that you were unappreciated by your boss and colleagues.

You CAN find another job, one that you have fulfillment in and where you are appreciated for what you bring to your role.

Don't rest on this, go to an employment agency as soon as you can, you have to accept that your old job is gone and find something new. It might be hard but if you let it linger it will only get worse TRUST ME.

I wish you all the best :)

I am so sorry for all of your losses. Life changes and the sun will shine again. Hold on and keep the faith.

I am sorry for the losses.

I just wanted to let you know that there is still a hope for you. Jesus loves you and he can give you a new life if you want to. He can be your best friend :-)
