This site is useful because it helps you remember that everyone is going through difficult shit. But face it everyones life is hard and shitty. No one has a life they think is easy, even rich people. Everyone adjusts to their situation. People in Africa dying of AIDS would be happy to be in your shoes. How many of you are happy in real life but just exaggerate how bad things are here because it makes you feel better and you want pity? Everyone has problems. So tell me, how do other people perceive you? Do you think they know how depressed you are? Or do you think you hide it pretty well?

I agree this site is useful as I am able relieve some stresses from my problems and feel better by sharing with others. But it's kind of hard, though, to know how people in real-life truthfully perceive me since I don't talk about my problems with friends or co-workers. I'm too nervous or ashamed of my problems. That's why I post here because I can remain anonymous.

I have run across people like you often. They always have that line of "Well, others have it worse, cheer up!" The thing is, this says to those "You're pain is as worthless as you are and you are not worth caring about, even slightly" I wonder, if there come a day when poopenfriegen2036 will be wanting some consoling and someone says the very same thing to them. Or, maybe someone did and this person is just lashing out due to just this.

Life's a bitch and then you die a wise man once said. It's true people are delusional that no one is going through a hard them like they are. This stuff we're reading could be a form of therapy I'm sure. It's like going to confession if you're a Christian.
