I have 2 kids with someone I can not stand the sight of, but in order to make sure they are treated right I am forced to live with "IT", while the state we live in gives custody to the mother (if she can even be called that.). Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes and even greater number of Bull-Shit laws. Back to the "mother" of my kids, she don't like any one of us including the kids, but when people come by let the illusion begin.
I as many was told a higher education is the key to happiness and success, and if this is true.... Then I have one question multiplied by 2 (the number of college degrees I will have in less then a month, but as of now I only have 1). WHAT THE FUCK HAPPEN?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!! | |
I'll cut right to the chase.
Globalization is affecting all of our lives : YES
Immigration being the cause? FUCK NO!!!!!
We can blame an overgrown bureaucratic government, over budgeted employee unions (all levels) or even a self-absorbed and completely disconnected corporate world. A corporate world that was always eager to exploit anything or anyone to feed it's greedy and cruel belly.
So, the very people that were "exploited" and their land litterally emptied of renewable ressources by wars or other seedy government manipulations,(sponsored, often enough, by corporations or "democracy" for that matter) are making their way here (Canada, U.S. or U.K. for example).
The government (that you pay for) is giving up on it's labor force (too expansive, they say) and is clever enough to make you believe that immigrants are the problem. THEY ARE NOT!
Governments are not looking out for anybody else but their "club" and that's it. They view laborers as replaceable, un-feeling robots, good only to fill up their wallets when the going gets rough FOR THEM.
Welcome foreign workers. Acceptance is the only answer to a sustained world economy. I worked different jobs with different people and was always amazed by their views, opinions and experiences. A problem usually has several "layers", a new point of view might do EVERYBODY some good.
Blame WTO, NAFTA.........Let's blame our respective governments.......Let's blame OURSELVES for PEACE sakes!
