Don't worry about the boyfriend thing. It WILL happen, I promise. But you have to be social and go out. Don't stay shut up in your room, don't give yourself excuses to not go out (like too much studying!), and also STOP WORRYING ABOUT IT. The more you worry about a boyfriend, the more anxious you'll be when you're around a guy and the more awkward it will be. Focus on having fun and nothing more.
And about your high school friends-for some reason people like to disappear after high school. It's happened to almost everyone, so you're not weird and it's not because of you. My theory is that most people want to "start over" after high school and reinvent themselves, maybe change their personalities and try different things. But that's harder if you're holding on to the same friends. If you're friends aren't contacting you, it doesn't mean you'll never have friends again. It just means you have to find new ones. This is not a bad thing. You have a whole college of young people, it's impossible that no one there will talk to you. Just be friendly and talk to as many people as you can.
To answer your question, the meaning of life is to go through it happy. There's no goal at the end. It's just a ride. Just a dream. So make it a good one.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
