I used to have acne as well but this product really works. I promise. I understand your pain. Best of luck!
I have been getting rid of my acne in a strange way that I've randomly stumbled upon. It wasn't extremely DEEP acne, but it was still bad and gross. I started using a gentle facecleanser that is so gentle pregnant women can use it. It's only available in Canada, so I won't bother with the name. Anyaway, it's about $15 for like 500ml, so it's definitely not expensive. The point of it is that it's very gentle and non irritating. None of that harsh acidic Nutrogena stuff or whatever.
Anyway, so I use it in the morning, then I use a cleanser/make up remover at night. Then exfoliate once a week. NOW. The part that has fucking worked for me: I take that gentle morning cleanser, and I use it as a night moisturizer. Holy fuck, does it ever work. The next night, it at least softened up my face. A couple of nights later, it began getting rid of the stupid acne. My whole problem I suppose was the fact that I didn't use a moisturizer ever, but that's because I thought it would make matters worse.
The reason it's okay to use the cleanser as a moisturizer at night is because it's ridiculously gentle AND it cleans while moisturizing, so why the fuck not:). You want something that says "apply on dry or wet face". That's pretty much how I got the idea. I apply just a little bit, enough to dampen my face with it, but not enough to oversaturate it. I would NEVER let my boyfriend touch my face because it was gross and dry and felt crusty. I don't even have another word to describe it. Now, I let him fondle the shit out of it. It's soft as fuck :)
If that doesn't work, you can always try Proactive. I hear it works well, but I've never had the money to be spending $50 a month on it. My method is the only thing that's ever work. I hope it works for you, too.
